We charge a flat administration fee of £30.00 per day for each locum professional.
Precision Perks is our loyalty scheme – similar to Amazon Prime. By paying a yearly fee, your practice receives benefits such as discounted administration fees and access to exclusive giveaways throughout the year.
Dental nurses start at £18.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to £20.00 per hour based on their experience and shift history. The rate charged to your practice will reflect the pay rate of the nurse who accepts the booking.

We apply a double rate for weekend shifts because we believe in fairly rewarding our nurses for the additional commitment required to work outside of standard hours. Weekends often mean time away from family, friends, and personal commitments, so the enhanced rate ensures our nurses feel valued for the extra sacrifice. Importantly, this increase goes directly to our nurses - it's not a company markup. By doing this, we attract and retain highly skilled professionals who are motivated to provide the best possible care, even at times that are typically less desirable to work.
Yes. After being matched with suitable staff based on your job criteria, you can choose to send the job offer to all matched locums or select specific individuals.
Yes – you can book multiple locums for the same day if required.
Yes. All dental staff on Precision Placements are fully qualified. Our compliance team verifies each locum's:
Our system automatically deactivates any locum whose documents become non-compliant.
If a cancellation is made within 18 hours of the booking, the practice will be charged 100% of the hours agreed with the locum. This protects the locum from lost income for the day, however we do not charge our admin fee and the entire amount will be paid to the locum.
Payment is processed via invoice following the booking. You'll receive details on how to pay once your account is active.
Absolutely – you can contact us directly by phone or submit an enquiry using our request form. A member of our team will carry out a manual search based on your requirements. If we find a match, you'll need to complete the registration process to finalise the booking.
