How does Precision Placements work?

How much do you charge to hire a locum nurse, hygienist, or dentist?

We charge a flat administration fee of £30.00 per day for each locum professional.

What is Precision Perks?

Precision Perks is our loyalty scheme – similar to Amazon Prime. By paying a yearly fee, your practice receives benefits such as discounted administration fees and access to exclusive giveaways throughout the year.

How much are the dental nurses paid?

Dental nurses start at £18.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to £20.00 per hour based on their experience and shift history. The rate charged to your practice will reflect the pay rate of the nurse who accepts the booking.

Can the practice choose which dental nurse works at their practice?

Yes. After being matched with suitable staff based on your job criteria, you can choose to send the job offer to all matched locums or select specific individuals.

Can I post a job for multiple nurses?

Yes – you can book multiple nurses for the same day if required.

Are the nurses fully qualified?

Yes. All nurses on Precision Placements are fully qualified. Our compliance team verifies each nurse's:

  • - GDC Certificate
  • - Indemnity Insurance
  • - Hepatitis B Vaccination
  • - Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • - Right to Work and Digital Identity

Our system automatically deactivates any nurse whose documents become non-compliant.

What happens if I cancel a nurse?

If a cancellation is made within 18 hours of the booking, the practice will be charged 100% of the daily fee. This protects the locum who may have incurred travel costs or lost income for the day.

How do I pay for my booking?

Payment is processed via invoice following the booking. You'll receive details on how to pay once your account is active.

Can I check if you have a locum available before signing up?

Absolutely – you can contact us directly by phone or submit an enquiry using our request form. A member of our team will carry out a manual search based on your requirements. If we find a match, you'll need to complete the registration process to finalise the booking.
